The Department of English, Daffodil International University, organised “The Dhaka Dialogics – Session 1 | Manto Beyond Borders” on 30 September 2026 at the International Conference Hall, Daffodil International University. The session focused on the literary legacy of Saadat Hasan Manto and explored themes of Partition, memory, borders, and the continuing realities of South Asia. Scholars and writers from Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan participated in the dialogue, creating an engaging platform for literary and academic exchange. The event was organised in collaboration with The South Asian Story, with The Daily Star as the Media Partner and Galda Verlag, Germany, as the Publication Partner.
