Program Objectives

Objectives of the Department

The main objectives of the department are:

  1. To provide quality teaching blended with practical Engineering skills
  2. To prepare students to develop hard and soft skills
  3. To prepare the students to excel in imbibing the concepts of sustainability, ethos, entrepreneurship and life-long learning
  4. To motivate faculty and students to do professional activities, collaboration, useful and application-oriented research and innovation

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEOs are long term objectives to be achieved by graduates within 3 to 5 years upon their graduation which are set realizing the needs and requirements of employer and Society. The EEE–DIU graduates are expected to accomplish the following PEOs:

PEO1: Establish themselves in advanced research and study, or as skilled and professional engineers, or technical leaders, or entrepreneurs in their fields. [Professionalism]

PEO2: Contribute to society through ethical, responsible, and sustainable application of electrical and electronic engineering concepts, methods, and tools. [Research and Innovation]

PEO3: Engage in life-long learning and interdisciplinary activities that promote both professional and personal development. [Continuous Development]
