3rd DIMENSION

Yesterday, the Department of Multimedia and Creative Technology (MCT), Daffodil International University, hosted "3rd Dimension: Where Every Creation Tells a Story" — our inaugural student-led 3D Project Showcasing Exhibition, featuring the final works of the course Fundamental of 3D Design and Modeling (Spring 2026), taught by Kazi Jahid Hasan, Assistant Professor, MCT.

39 students. 39 first-time 3D creations. One unforgettable morning dedicated to Religious Architecture reimagined in 3D.

From the first light in the Student Lounge to the final applause at the International Conference Hall, every moment carried the quiet pride of students showing their very first complete 3D work to the world.

Patro Nishan 2026: A Creative Dialogue Between Design and Literature

𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗡𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗔 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲

“𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗡𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻,” organized by 𝗠𝗖𝗧 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟰𝟬, was successfully held today, bringing together creativity, passion, and a love for books in a vibrant setting.

We were deeply honored to have 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗱. 𝗙𝗼𝗸𝗵𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗻, esteemed Dean of the Faculty of Science & Information Technology (FSIT) at Daffodil International University, as our chief guest. His presence and encouragement added great significance to the event.

A major highlight of the program was the 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, where participants explored and collected thoughtfully designed bookmarks inspired by their 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀. To recognize creativity and excellence, some of 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗱.

The event turned into a truly memorable occasion through the enthusiastic participation and support of everyone involved. Heartfelt thanks to all who joined us and contributed to its success.

MCT Alumni Iftar 2026

The MCT Alumni Association organized the MCT Alumni Iftar 2026, bringing together more than 100 alumni from Batch 1 to Batch 31 on 7 March 2026 (17 Ramadan).

The gathering created a wonderful opportunity for alumni from different generations to reconnect, share memories, and strengthen the MCT community. It was an evening filled with conversation, reflection, and a renewed sense of connection during the holy month of Ramadan.

Events like this continue to build a strong alumni network and maintain the lasting bond among graduates of the Department of Multimedia & Creative Technology.
