The Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship (FBE) at Daffodil International University (DIU) was established on 24 January 2002 to provide quality education and cultivate graduates capable of becoming ethical business leaders and innovative entrepreneurs in the region. Today, FBE is one of the largest faculties at DIU, serving over 7,500 students (2021–2026) across Bachelor’s and Master’s programs.
FBE comprises eight departments: Business Administration, Management, Real Estate, Tourism & Hospitality Management, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Accounting, Finance & Banking, and Marketing. Our programs follow an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach, integrating practical tasks, AI, business programming, and ethics courses across all major areas. To meet global industry needs, FBE continually updates its curriculum with cutting-edge courses.
As a center of research and innovation, FBE faculty have published over 700 articles, including publications in ABDC, ABS, and Scopus-indexed journals. One department is accredited by the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC), with the remaining departments expected to achieve BAC accreditation by 2030. FBE is also actively pursuing international accreditations such as AACSB, EFMD Global, AMDISA, and EQUIS to maintain global standards of excellence.
By combining academic rigor, practical relevance, and industry engagement, FBE prepares graduates with the knowledge, skills, and digital competencies needed to drive sustainable growth, societal impact, and innovation across Bangladesh and South Asia.
