Founded on 24 January 2002, the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship (FBE) at Daffodil International University (DIU) is one of the University's oldest and largest academic units. Our purpose is to develop ethical business leaders and innovative entrepreneurs who advance sustainable development in Bangladesh and South Asia.
FBE brings together eight departments: Accounting, Business Administration, Finance & Banking, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Management, Marketing, Real Estate, and Tourism & Hospitality Management. These departments offer undergraduate and graduate programs built on Outcome-Based Education (OBE). Every program combines hands-on practical learning with courses in artificial intelligence, business programming, and ethics. We review our curricula regularly to keep pace with the changing needs of industry.
FBE faculty have published more than 700 research articles. Between 2020 and 2025, the faculty produced 392 intellectual contributions, including 236 published journal articles. Of these, 169 appeared in ABDC- or Scopus-indexed journals.
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program is accredited by the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC), and FBE aims to achieve BAC accreditation for all its remaining programs by 2030. Internationally, FBE is a member of AACSB, EFMD Global, and AMDISA, and is working toward AACSB accreditation.
By combining academic rigor, practical relevance, and strong industry engagement, FBE prepares graduates with the knowledge, skills, and digital competencies to drive sustainable growth, innovation, and positive societal impact across Bangladesh and South Asia.
